Dr. Kenneth J. Corse II (MD) – Professional Background Doctor Kenneth J. Corse II is currently a board certified radiologist. Dr. Corse received his radiology training at SUNY, Upstate Medical University - a tertiary care facility and Level I trauma center in Syracuse, NY. This experience provided him with exposure to a high volume and wide variety of medical and surgical cases, with training in all diagnostic imaging modalities and light interventional radiology. Dr. Corse's clinical experience in the ER and broad medical knowledge base contribute to the accuracy and clinical relevance of the imaging studies he reads. Also, the ability to maintain a high index of suspicion for various disorders enables him to recognize findings that might otherwise be overlooked. In addition, procedures done in the ER instilled a mature confidence and manual dexterity beneficial in performing interventional radiology. This includes accessing all joints for therapeutic injections and arthrograms, as well as light IR services, such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICCs, ports, biopsies and drainages. Because of his commitment to high quality care and the ever changing health care environment that physicians continually face, Dr. Corse obtained an MBA degree while serving as Assistant Director of an ER in Richmond, VA. He has also served on hospital committees and interfaced with the public. While his focus is general radiology, Dr. Corse has special aptitudes and interests that could meet potential needs and provide flexibility for any radiology group, including the areas of MSK, neuroradiology and MRI.
